Note, this is not in the MCA Area but I am sure lots of MCA members will be interested.

The plan is to develop the area between the two roads, currently occupied by the HSS Hire centre (on Camberwell New Road) and the Job Centre (on Camberwell Green).

    - mixed use and between 5 and 8 storeys
    - 150 one, two and three bed apartments
    - includes affordable housing and amenity space
    - enhancement of Camberwell Passage, likely to reduce incidence of crime
    - ground floor retail, community and business units including possible new job centre

You can see more details at:

Planning application will be submitted shortly.

This makes three large developments adjacent to each other on the Camberwell New Road (see previous postings about the Snooker Hall and the Bus Station extension developments on either side of the road.

    PUBLIC EXHIBITION OF PLANS:
    Thursday 22nd Oct 4pm-7pm and Saturday 24th Oct 2.30pm-5.30pm
both at St Mary's Greek Orthodox Church Banqueting Hall, 305 Camberwell New Road SE5 OTF
(next door to the proposed development)
